About
Our Mission
The WCHS Music Booster Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting music education for more than 500 students in choral and instrumental ensembles. MCPS allocates just $10 per student annually, leaving a gap we help fill. Our mission is to ensure every student has the tools and opportunities to excel in music, both in school and the greater community.
Impact
Every donation directly enhances students’ music experiences, ensuring our music program thrives in ways the school budget alone cannot.
Thanks to our generous community, the Boosters have provided state-of-the-art equipment, instruments, master clinician-led workshops and more. Each contribution ensures every student, from beginner to award-winning performer, gains access to the resources they need to grow and succeed.

Meet Your Board
The WCHS Music Booster Board is made up of volunteer parents and community members committed to advancing music education. Board members bring diverse skills in fundraising, event planning and advocacy to support students and teachers. Together, they prioritize initiatives that enhance every ensemble’s experience while ensuring transparency and effective use of donations. Many of our Board member's children are graduating. Ask us about open positions or shadowing a role. It’s a great way to support your student, connect with fellow music parents and help shape the future of our programs.
